Scammers are getting smarter now. After they hack into your facebook account, they immediately change your password; locking you out. Facebook support is not at all helpful to reset your password back.

In the meanwhile, the scammers log on as you and start chatting with your friends and start asking them for money because they are stuck in London and need cash to fly out.

Inkampus was built with security and privacy as #1 goal.

In Inkampus, there are two ways to change a password (1) Either online by answering the security question on the site (in which case you will also get an email with the new password) or (2) By having a new password emailed to your college address.

Thus if someone changes your password online or even changes your security question/answer; you will ALWAYS have the ability to reset your account password. It looks like Facebook lacks this feature and now users cannot get their accounts back.

The best protection is to always use a strong password (special characters, numbers, etc). In addition, the system should automatically lock the account after a number of consecutive unsuccessful attempts (by hackers).

In addition, we have also done few more security protection in the back end; which will prevent hacker attacks.
